While men’s basketball has a long tradition of excellence at Wake Forest, the team had not been drawing the usual crowds to games. They wanted to up attendance and get disenchanted fans excited about Wake Forest Basketball again. The 30th anniversary of the stadium was the perfect chance to bring back the nostalgia and encourage fans to be excited about Wake basketball again.
