Hi, my name is Liz Lawler. I studied Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. I graduated in June of 2018 with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, and minors in Packaging Design and Art History. Currently, I am living and working in Winston-Salem, NC at Wildfire Ideas. Certified in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I have worked with a variety of clients including Delta Air Lines, Lowes Foods, Guilford College, Piedmont Triad Partnership, Unifi, Madison Hospitality, and the Dixie Classic Fair.
The projects that give me the most joy are those which addresses how design integrates into contemporary culture and in turn, encourage the betterment of the individual. If someone can view or interact with my designs, and be able to take something away from it, I have succeeded. Whether that is choosing the better product, inspiring a sense of pride, or realizing that they can be a better, happier version of themselves, I have achieved my goal.
I am so crazy about what I do. I aim to go beyond the bare minimum, to learn from my peers, as well as challenge those around me. I thrive on collaboration, and enjoy spending time with others that challenge me to to go beyond what I thought I was capable of. In my spare time I like to indulge my creativity through experiencing and making art, my curiosity through traveling, and my competitiveness through (sometimes) friendly games of scrabble.
